Buckstop Junction is a historic town established and designed by the Missouri Valley Historical Society, an organization dedicated to studying and preserving the history of Bismarck, North Dakota, and fostering an appreciation of the past.

Step inside our historic buildings at Buckstop Junction and hear the stories of the people who moved here, built our towns, and homesteaded the prairies of North Dakota. The village offers visitors a feel for the atmosphere of the Missouri River Valley during that time. Our buildings were moved to this site by the Missouri Valley Historical Society for preservation.
